Eifion & Mandy Griffiths are known for their use of colour and design, keeping Melin Tregwynt’s iconic weaves relevant for contemporary homes during the 40 years they have been running the company.
Challenged to select colours for a limited edition blanket, to mark their retirement, they decided on ‘ Aurora’ a vibrant new colourway in the 1960’s Vintage Star design.
The inspiration came from the Northern Lights which have been seen twice already in Pembrokeshire this year and there are some stunning images of this rare event against our dark skies.

Using the sensational colours of sky sea and land seen on these very rare nights, these blankets are woven from pure new British wool.
A limited run of just 250 metres has been woven, creating 230 items split between throws, bed blankets in single, double or king size and cushions.
