THE fashionable creations of more than 20 University of South Wales (USW) students have gone on show at a special graduation show in Cardiff.
As part of Faculty of Creative Industries’ Creative Graduate Festival, the show is just one of the events that celebrate the work of students who study on 20 courses at USW’s Cardiff Campus.
They events are being held in Cardiff, Pontypridd, and London throughout May and June, and can be followed at #cardiffgradfest
Friday night’s show – which was held at Portland House in Cardiff Bay - saw 22 students, who have recently completed their Fashion Design degree at USW, show off their creations.

The designers were also allocated a space in Portland House to put together a display, so the visitors who saw the catwalk show could take a closer look at their work.
Student Claudia Hughes, who was one of the duo who were responsible for organising the event, said: “Putting together a fashion show of such intricacy has been an amazing experience for everyone involved.
“We have spent three years learning how to design and put together the creations that the crowds could see, and we’re all very pleased with the response we received.”
Steven Wright, Fashion Design Course Leader, added: “The work that the students have put together are incredible, and prove that they have what it takes to make it in the world of fashion.
“USW is here to give our students the skills to flourish when they go out and get a job in the industry they have chosen. I have no doubt that they will be snapped up when they start looking for work, and will be a huge success.”
