a year in pembrokeshire...
2 October, 2018
In their book “A Year in Pembrokeshire” photographer David Wilson and broadcaster Jamie Owen have documented the historic county of Pembrokeshire in all its seasonal variety.
Jamie & David spent a year travelling around their beloved home county documenting communities and lives lived out in one of the most extraordinary landscapes in Britain.
This is the book they have always wanted to do. It is their personal homage to the place they call home. And it is a celebration of the people and landscape of this tiny finger of land on the western edge of Britain.
This is a love story in prose and pictures
Jamie Owen (now based in Istanbul having been with BBC Wales for nearly 25 years)
It is a book about people and communities set within a beguiling landscape. Making this book was a privilege
David Wilson, photographer, who has a number of critically acclaimed books to his credit
On their travels around Pembrokeshire they dropped in at Melin Tregwynt; and we’ve included some of the lovely images that David took during their visit. These show the mill, our staff and the surrounding countryside.
